Natalie & Grant’s Wedding – Dryburgh Abbey, St. Boswells, Melrose (Part Two)
- Wednesday, 1st June 2011Continuing on from Part One of Natalie and Grant’s wedding… A nervous Grant sees his bride for the first time as she walks down the aisle with her dad.

The Abbey ruins really are a breathtaking place to have a wedding drinks reception!

It’s not often you can use the ceremony venue for a group portrait of all the guests but this one was perfect!

Natalie and Grant were driven off for some time alone as a married couple.

Despite warnings from guests that the midges were in abundance, Natalie and Grant weren’t deterred and stood down by the river for a quick portrait.

The midges quickly started to overwhelm us and we had to make an escape!

After working hard all day, looking after Natalie, her bridesmaid takes a powernap before the evening reception!

Pauline at Piped Dreams Designer Cakes made the beautiful cake:

Music was provided by The Strangers

Inspired as always Mr P! I simply adore both your reflective eye for framing a moment & use of primes. But most of all, it looks like they all had an amazing day!
The emotion is almost physically tangible in these images. I was loving the morning shots, especially the shots in the car, and then you took it up another level with the images from the ceremony. Awesome stuff!
All totally gorgeous, but absolutely love the dance shots and the movement you’ve captured
