Will & Louise’s Wedding – Kirk of Calder & Houston House Hotel, near Edinburgh (Part One)
- Tuesday, 18th October 2011I had a lovely time photographing Will and Louise’s wedding a couple of weeks ago, with Claudia Carter joining me as second-shooter. Louise and Will both got ready at Houston House Hotel, where Louise relaxed with some bubbly, but Will still had some work to do preparing the reception room for later.
The weather was perfect all day, and the ceremony took place at the beautiful Kirk of Calder. Returning to the hotel, group shots and a relaxed portrait session took place in the beautiful grounds where the leaves were turning a lovely autumnal colour.
After their meal and speeches, a nervous Will and Louise started off the evening in style with a great first dance (after a quick dress rehearsal, before the guests entered the room, literally, to check they could dance with Louise in her dress!) to music by the excellent band, Corra. It was a pleasure to be part of their day!
